More recently, we have expanded into the south coast of NSW collecting used cooking oil from Wollongong to Eden and inland to Cooma and the Snowy Mountains. Waste Away is a family owned and run business that has grown from the original 1 employee, 1 truck and 600 trash pack customers in 1988 into the multifaceted waste management services company it is today. Our Fleet Our extensive fleet ensures we have a range of vehicles available to handle your request no matter how large or small. Our fleet includes: - Compactor garbage trucks for domestic and commercial use, - Dedicated paper and recycling trucks, - Flat bed trucks with tailgate lifters, - Pantechs, - Tautliners, - 1 tonne utilities. Our Equipment Waste Away chooses to use only the highest standard of equipment.<br /> This minimises the effect of wear and tear and subsequently reduces our need to replace damaged bins etc. These practices assist us in minimising our carbon footprint. Our in-house mechanic ensures that we always have safe and reliable vehicles and equipment.
